Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF) has been designed for all employees working in any workplace, to help raise their awareness of health and safety in the workplace. During this half day course, learners will develop a basic knowledge of health and safety issues such as: hazards and risks in the workplace, workplace conditions that can affect health and safety, and the requirements for workplace procedures.
Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training and be able to perform practical tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
Due to the practical nature of this course, Learners should wear appropriate clothing and footwear, e.g. trousers and flat footwear.
The course can be delivered in person at one of our bases, online, or at a venue of your choosing. In the instance that we provide the training at a location of your choice the fee is subject to change based on the request.
