Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling qualification has been specifically designed for all employees to help raise their awareness of the risks associated with unsafe manual handling practices. It is also ideal for those who might have to carry out manual handling as part of their job such as handling deliveries, parcels and boxes.
Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training and be able to perform practical tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
Due to the practical nature of this course, Learners should wear appropriate clothing and footwear, e.g. trousers and flat footwear.
The course can be delivered in person at one of our bases, online, or at a venue of your choosing. In the instance that we provide the training at a location of your choice the fee is subject to change based on the request.
