Level 2 Award in citizenAID qualification has been developed for all members of the public who wish to learn valuable life-saving skills and techniques for use in the event of a shooting, stabbing, bombing or other deliberate incident. This qualification is particularly useful for those who work in high risk environments where the risk of a deliberate multiple casualty attack should be considered, including: airports, train and bus stations, schools/colleges, shopping centres, and large public events.
Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training and be able to perform practical tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
Due to the practical nature of this course, Learners should wear appropriate clothing and footwear, e.g. trousers and flat footwear.
This qualification is valid for a period of 3 years. The Learner needs to retake the qualification before the certificate expiry date to remain qualified.
The course can be delivered in person at one of our bases or at a venue of your choosing. In the instance that we provide the training at a location of your choice the fee is subject to change based on the request.
