Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who work, or intend to work, in a role that involves manual handling. During this 1 day course, learners will be taught the key principles of manual handling and how to apply these to their workplace. They will also practise a wide range of techniques, ensuring that they leave the course confident and proficient in moving and handling.
Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training and be able to perform practical tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
Due to the practical nature of this course, Learners should wear appropriate clothing and footwear, e.g. trousers and flat footwear.
The course can be delivered in person at one of our bases, online, or at a venue of your choosing. In the instance that we provide the training at a location of your choice the fee is subject to change based on the request.
